A door-to-door perspective on how to make public transport easier (O. Nielsen, DTU, Denmark)

The lecture will present resent research on how to make public transport easier focusing on the door-to-door perspective. Particularly focus will be made on transit oriented development, and how urban surroundings to stations influence perceived safety as well as mode choice and route choice in public transport. Otto Nielsen is professor in Transport Modelling and head of the Transport Division at DTU Management, Department of Technology, Management and Economics.
